En er zijn ook al serieuze ongevallen gebeurd, zoals ook beschreven in volgend <a href=\"https:\/\/hagelandexpres.wordpress.com\/2019\/03\/03\/ongeval-ter-hoogte-van-dijk\/\">artikel in Hageland Express<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"459\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stadszteam.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-14.png?resize=640%2C459&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2520\" style=\"width:905px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stadszteam.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-14.png?resize=1024%2C735&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stadszteam.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-14.png?resize=300%2C215&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stadszteam.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-14.png?resize=768%2C551&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stadszteam.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-14.png?w=1179&amp;ssl=1 1179w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Veiligheid<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We begrijpen dat de <strong>wegversmallingen snelheidsremmend<\/strong> werken, wat bevorderlijk is voor de verkeersveiligheid, maar de laatste jaren is het verkeer op die baan sterk toegenomen, worden auto\u2019s almaar breder en is er toch wel redelijk wat zwaar verkeer dat via Testelt naar de E314 rijdt (ondanks het 7,5t verbodsbord).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dit veroorzaakt almaar meer moeilijke kruisbewegingen, die de veiligheid opnieuw in het gedrang brengt omdat de voertuigen van beide kanten elkaar rakelings passeren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Oplossing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De veiligheid kan worden verhoogd door gebruik te maken van de verkeersbordencombinatie B19 en B21 (zie figuur hieronder), zoals die ook worden gebruikt in de Hoornblaas en de Reppelsebaan.
